Sign in to Miningwatchdog Marketplace


Whether you are a Buyer or Seller on the Miningwatchdog Marketplace, you can use the same email address to sign up for all of them. Read on to learn how to sign in to Miningwatchdog Marketplace with your email address, and your Facebook, or Google Account. Marketplace with your email address, your Apple, or Google Account.


Sign in to your Miningwatchdog Marketplace Platform


Sign in with Email


- On the marketplaceminingwatchdog.com website, click sign in. Enter your email address with a confirmation code from Miningwatchdog Marketplace and enter it.


Sign in with Google


- Open the website and click sign in. Click continue with Facebook or Google and select your account.


Troubleshooting issues with signing in


If you’re unable to sign in on Miningwatchdog Marketplace, read and learn how to reboot some of the common issues.


*You forgot your password


Use our (Link: ‘forgot password’) to request a code that allows you to sign in to any workspaces associated with your email address. Once you’ve signed back in, you can (Link: set a new password) for your account.


*You’re not receiving emails


Check that you have created your Miningwatchdog Marketplace account with the correct email. If you have different personal and work email addresses, visit the Sign in on our website and enter your email address to make sure you’re using the right one.

Check your spam folder and talk or our support team. If emails from Miningwatchdog Marketplace are not getting delivered to your inbox or spam folder, or links in our emails are expiring, please contact support ([email protected])


*You didn’t receive a 2FA code


Review the troubleshooting steps in (Link: Set up two-factor authentication (2FA). You may need to temporarily disable 2FA from your account so that you can sign in.


*You need to update your email


If you’ve created a Miningwatchdog Marketplace account and want to use a different email address for your account, you have two options;


- Update your email from your (Link: Account Settings Page.) To do this, you will first need to (Link: Request a password reset email.) Once you’ve set a password for your account, enter it on your account settings page to (Link: add a different email to your account.)

- If you want to continue using Facebook or Google sign-in options, you will need to (Link: Revoke access to Miningwatchdog Marketplace) and create a new account using a visible email associated with your preferred Facebook account or Google Login.


Reset your Password


Did you forget your password? Read on for steps to sign back into Miningwatchdog Marketplace.


1. Visit Marketplace.miningwatchdog.com

2. Enter your email address and click Sign in with Email

3. Check your inbox for a Miningwatchdog Marketplace confirmation code

4. Enter the code on the sign-in page, then select the account (Buyer/Seller) you’d like to sign in to.

5. Follow the steps in the next section to (Link: Add a password)


Add a Password


1. Click your Profile Picture on the dashboard

2. Select Profile

3. Select Account Settings

4. Next to Password, click Expand.

5. Click Reset your Password by email. Check your email for a link to add a password.


Troubleshooting


Why Didn’t I get a password reset Email?


Check your spam or junk folder. If emails from Miningwatchdog Marketplace aren’t getting delivered to your inbox, check your email settings if they allow emails from [email protected] or [email protected]


I lost access to the email address on my account


For security purposes, you MUST be able to access the email inbox associated with your Miningwatchdog Marketplace account to reset your password. If that’s not possible, ask the admin to (Link: update the email address) linked to your account. Please note that Miningwatchdog Marketplace Admin can’t reset or change passwords.


I don’t have a password


If you didn’t set a password when you signed up for Miningwatchdog Marketplace, for example, you (Link: Sign in with Facebook or Google), you can request a password reset to add one to your account.


Set up a two-factor authentication


For an added layer of security, turn on a two-factor authentication (2FA) for your Miningwatchdog Marketplace account. If your password gets compromised or stolen, you will have peace of mind knowing that you can sign in.


How 2FA Works


You’ll need access to your mobile phone when you sign in to Miningwatchdog Marketplace


You’ll enter a verification code and your password each time you sign in.


You can choose to send your verification code by text message (SMS) or from an authentication app but owners can (Link: Require an authentication app) if they’d like.


Switch between Buyer and Seller Account


If you’re signed in to more than one user profile, you can easily switch between Buyer and Seller’s accounts.


Open/Switch to another Account


1. Click on your dashboard when either Buyer/Seller

2. Select the other option you want Seller/Buyer


Adjust your Notifications


Guide to Miningwatchdog Marketplace Notifications


Notifications in Miningwatchdog Marketplace are solely designed to keep you informed whether you’re at your desk or on the go. Read on to learn more about the Miningwatchdog Marketplace notifications o your desktop and mobile devices.


How Notifications work


You will receive desktop notifications when you’re using Miningwatchdog Marketplace on your Computer. When you’re away, you’ll receive notifications from your mobile or by email. Here’s when you’ll receive desktop and mobile notifications by default.


- Someone sends you a (link” direct message DM)

- Someone (Link: mentions you, Link: notifies your store)

- Someone replying to a message on our chat platform.


These defaults apply to both desktop and mobile notifications unless you (Link: Configure your preferences.)


Manage your Miningwatchdog Email Subscriptions


From time to time, Miningwatchdog will send you emails. This might include news about NEW Products or Exciting promotions. Other newsworthy emails include added functionality, and opportunities to provide feedback or sales tips. You can easily manage these email subscriptions from your preferences.


Update your email preferences


From your account, navigate to the Notifications tab under your account settings.


Under email news and updates, check the boxes next to the types of emails, you’d like to receive. Uncheck the boxes next to the type of emails you don’t want to receive.


Change your settings and preferences


Edit your profile


Here you’ll learn how to complete your profile. As you fill in your profile don’t forget to (Link: upload a profile photo.) Your photo makes it easier for others to easily recognize you.


Users can add the following details to their profile


Full name (Link: Display name)


Update your profile


1. Click your profile picture in the sidebar

2. Select Profile

3. Click Edit

4. Edit your Profile, then click Save changes


Upload a profile photo


Your profile photo helps your team know who you are in Slack. And if your photo is clear, it’ll be easier for someone to pick you out in a crowd.


How to add a photo


1. Click on your profile picture on the sidebar

2. Select profile from the Menu

3. Click Edit

4. Under Profile photo, click Upload photo

5. Select a photo

6. Adjust the framing, then click save

7. Click Save changes


Remove a profile photo


You can remove your profile photo from Miningwatchdog Marketplace


1. Click your profile picture in the sidebar

2. Select profile from the Menu

3. Click Edit

4. Below your photo, select Remove photo

5. Click Yes, Remove Photo

6. Click Save changes


Change your Email address


The email address you use for Miningwatchdog Marketplace is where we’ll send passwords and reset emails and other important communications – It’s best to keep the email up to date.


Update your email address


1. From your dashboard, navigate to your Account Settings by following the account link

2. Next to the email address, click expand

3. Enter your password and new email address, then click Update Email

4. Check the confirmation email on your new email inbox with the subject line Confirm your new email address

5. Open the email, then click Confirm your email address.


The confirmation link will take you to your Account Page. From there. You’ll see your new confirmed email address in the Email Address section to save it. If you’re not signed in to Miningwatchdog Marketplace when you click Confirm your email address, use your old email address to sign in to save the change.


Missing confirmation emails


We’ll send a confirmation email shortly after you update your email address. If you didn’t receive the email, try the following;


- Check your spam or junk folder, and any filters in your inbox

- Open your email settings and check for typos in the email address. If the address is incorrect, you can change it by following the steps above.

Manage your Time zone preferences


Traveling or in a different time zone than the buyer/seller? You can update your local time zone in Miningwatchdog Marketplace.


Change your time zone


1. Click your Profile Picture in the sidebar

2. Select preferences from the Menu

3. Choose Language & Religion from the list

4. Under the Time Zone, select an option from the drop-down Menu.


If you’d like, Miningwatchdog Marketplace to automatically update your time zone, check the box next to Set time zone automatically.


Manage your language preferences


You can display the Miningwatchdog Marketplace platform in a number of different languages. If you’re preferred language isn’t yet supported, you can still send and read messages in that language by adjusting your spellcheck settings.

Change your language preference


To select your preferred language in Miningwatchdog Marketplace, use the steps below. Keep in mind that while your selected language will display throughout on Miningwatchdog Marketplace, you may see some messages display in your (Link: Dashboard Default Language)


1. From your dashboard, click on your profile picture in the top right.

2. Select Preference from the Menu

3. Select Language & Religion

4. Below Languages, choose an option from the drop-down menu.


Manage spellcheck in Miningwatchdog Marketplace


You can (Link: Send Messages in most languages by typing them in your preferred language in the message field. Spellcheck in Miningwatchdog Marketplace is enabled by default, it will automatically detect the language of the message you send. In the message field, misspelled words will appear underlined in red. To manage spellcheck and adjust your spellcheck languages, kindly follow the steps below


1. Open system preference

2. Select keyboard

3. Click the Text tab on the top.

4. Below Spelling, open the drop-down menu

5. Scroll to the bottom of the list, then click set up.

6. Check or uncheck the box next to any languages you’d like spellchecked.

1. From your dashboard, click your profile picture in the top right

2. Select preference from the Menu

3. Select Language & Religion

4. Check or uncheck the box next to Enable spellcheck on your messages


Change your Display name


You can choose a display name that fits the bill in Miningwatchdog Marketplace. If you don’t fill in the display name field in your Miningwatchdog Marketplace profile, you’ll see your full name displayed


Full Name Display


You must include a full name display in your profile. Unless you’ve (Link: Updated your profile), we can use the full name you gave us when you created your account.


Display Name


Display names are optional and can contain spaces, non-English characters, and capitalization.


Set your Display name


1. From the dashboard, click your profile picture

2. Select Profile. This will open your profile, click Edit

3. Below the Display Name field, enter your preferred display name

4. Clock Save Changes


Set your search preferences


These are the two preferences you can set to customize your (Link: Search) options in Miningwatchdog Marketplace.
